Long ago, the world of Eldria was whole, a land where magic and reality coexisted in delicate harmony, bound together by the Pillars of Balance. These Pillars, ancient structures imbued with the will of the gods, ensured that no force, be it order, chaos, life, or death could dominate the others.

But then, the Sundering came.

Whether by mortal folly or divine intervention, one of the Pillars shattered, unleashing a cataclysm that fractured reality itself. The lands were torn apart, their very essences thrown into disarray. What was once a singular world splintered into fragmented realms—nine cities, each locked in its own domain, warped by the force it once embodied.

The world is not as it once was, nor as it should be.
Something is broken, and in the cracks, something stirs.
Now, the world is broken.
The cities still exist, but they are no longer as they were. Each has become an extreme manifestation of its own nature, teetering on the edge of instability.
